Hi, can the front door lock be removed without removing th glass?

These lock unit solenoids are prone to burn out. Plugs need to be kept free of corrosion and the central control module can play up as well. Best to buy secondhand from people like Eurojag, who generally charge around one third of the new cost. Parts also come with a short warrenty which is useful.
Locks are a known problem on our cars.
Use thin machine oil for catch lubrication. WD is less effective in the long run as the chemical constituants evaporate after a while and mechanisms then stiffen up again.
