Boot Light

Hi all
Just noticed the boot light on my s type is not working. I suspect that the bulb has gone. I notice that the cover seems to have a small slot at one end that would take a small screwdriver. Before I try to lift the cover using a small screwdriver ,is this the correct thing to do? Thanks Dinky

If you pull the card and carpet away from the car, you can slip your hand down the back of the card and help tease the lamp unit out of the card. The lamp is a typical festoon type. Two push on crimp connectors and cables power up the unit.

Not a difficult job.
