Retro fitting auto wipers?

I am loving the S-Type R and wondering why I didn't come to S-Type-land sooner. ..
The only thing I miss from the XKR-S it replaced is the auto wipers; does anyone know how expensive and complicated it would be to retro-fit, including which parts I would need to obtain?

Happy Christmas to one and all.
You will probably find the majority of wiring already in the standard wiring loom in the car. You obviously need all the control gear and units to add.
I imagine there would be a fair amount of work needed in as much as various trim items would need to be removed to gain access to the plug points.
Buying new is likely to be rather on the costly side and it would perhaps make sense to contact Eurojag (details in the magazine) and see if they could provide you with the complete caboodle from an accident damaged car at a rather more affordable price. Eurojag know their onions when it comes to spares so that is probably the best place to start your inquiries.

Thanks. Have used Eurojag several times - nice people, great service, know their Jags! I knew what I was getting into when I bought a full Premium Sound System for the XJR (X308) - David Marks had to rip the insides out of the car to install the wiring loom... big job but a huge improvement. I would do the same with the auto-wipers as they will know which bits I need - but i'm not in a rush.
