Tinted headlamps on late S-Type

[blackflash]

I love the look of the tinted (smoked?) headlamps on the later S-Type (R at least) but my car doesn't have these. My XKR-S had the same on the rear lights to great effect.

Does anyone have the tinted/smoked headlamps? Is it the glass or the reflector which is tinted?

Just for laughs, I called my local main dealer to price a pair: £700 each = £1400! which I presume does not include VAT...
