DRIVER DOOR MODULE

Please, I need to order a driver´s door module for my S-ype.
I have not a parts book for S-type and I would like to order just the right part number.
My S-type is a 4.2, V8, automatic, serial number (model year [?]): SAJAA1R32HMS1962
(european hand drive)
I tried with SNG Barratt spare parts book but I can´t found the part I need. I supposed they do not include those parts they do not sale.
Any help?

it is a very Good question
with the key (both keys) it failure to open doors or I can´not close them.
When I close with the key the ECU opens all the doors
Very ofen I have to open the door with the key direct to the clock.

Have you put new batteries in the key fobs?
Maybe they need reprogramming but I do not know how to do that.

The Driver"s Door Module needs to be programmed to the car at a vast cost at a Jaguar Dealer so you really need to know whether it is really required. The car is to be, realistic, scrap value only. From one who has suffered the same trauma.

Many Jaguar models arrive at their lowest value at some point in their life, that does not necessarily mean they should not be repaired. Yes, cost is always a factor but not the only one. I hope you get the support you need to sort your door locking issue out. Have you tried emailing David Marks who provides technical advice for your model to JEC members?

I agree with you. The cost is an important factor but the real cost to NOT enjoy driving a car as an S-Type, a Jaguar S-Type, is to high for me.
