Re: Central locking
Try excercising all the locks on the car one by one, Darren.
Locks and levers can become sticky over time. I recall having the mechanism in the drivers door almost become solid. With the door card removed, I was able to lubricate and free off the mechanism.
Spmetimes just opening and closing the doors and working the locks a few times is enough to get things going again.
See how you make out with those ideas as a starter.

Re: Central locking
Thanks for that, already tried my friend, I used to be a member of jec years ago , when I had a few daimler 's (xj40) . Had a similar problem. But doors unlock perfect with the KEY. I unplugged the central locking module in the drivers door for a few seconds and seemed to have sorted it, but within an hour back to fault. Could it be this
Re: Central locking
Open the key fob and clean all the dirt out. Some of the buttons can be replaced by parts found on e-bay.
