My key fob has just decided to stop working, have changed the battery in the fob but still no joy. Have done a quick search but I can't find anything to say they need re-programming after a battery swap. Any help would be much appreciated.

Re: Another Key Fob Issue
Have checked this out a little more, apparently if the battery is out of the fob for any length of time then it needs to be re-programmed as it forgets the code.

Re: Another Key Fob Issue
Procedure for Pairing an S-Type 4 button Fob if Battery is not changed in time...
1) Insert working Key into the Ignition and prepare your unpaired Key in your other hand
2) Turn Key to position 1 then 0 (off) 8 times in quick succession IN LESS THAN 10 SECONDS
3) Press a button on each remote (doesn't matter which button but I used the unlock button)
4) Remove the Key from the Ignition and get out the Car and lock it.
Your unpaired Key should now be paired and can be used as normal
Repeat this procedure anytime you forget to change the Battery in the fob in time.
