Fuse No. 7 Blowing

Postby g.knight710 » Tue Jun 11, 2024 11:28 pm

Hello all.
I'd appreciate help with a problem if possible.
I recently took my 1999 3.0 S-Type for MoT. I picked it up after the place had closed, only to find that all items powered from fuse 7 no longer worked.
On Googling, I found several other folk with the identical problem which at first seemed promising, but no one ever bothered to post up solutions.
I had a new left knee not so long back - that didn't work out well and I can barely bend my knee now which makes any work on the car really difficult - I had to have my Grandson to do a few fuse swops for me as the fuse box by the accelerator pedal is completely inaccessible to me  .
The drivers seat is right back, so I'm trying to check under there first, but cant get the seat out because it is right back!
Any suggestions or first hand experience on this issue greatly appreciated.
Thank you!
Gary
