HID Headlamp replacement

Hi all.

I'm new to Jaguar ownership and have to say I absolutely love my car. It has had one or two problems, but nothing that hasn't been able to be fixed!

I have come across an issue however and that is the lamp replacement. How on earth do you get to the back of the lamp housing to change the lamps for new ones? It looks as though the bumper needs to come off to get the housing out for the exchange...

Hi George,
You are quite correct when you assume the bumper has to be removed.
Here are the pages that refer to the procedure taken from the workshop manual.

Post No 14 tells you how to do it without removing the bumper.
If you have small hands I would imagine .
