Auto Drivers Seat

Hi hope one of you chaps can help me?
My drivers seat has stopped working auto on entry and exit! I can still move it manually up and down back and forth but it is a nuisance. I have bad legs and am finding it a problem. The steering wheel is still working on it's memory and is set to auto.

You could try reprograming the seat memory to see if that works.

This problem is often put down to a defective column switch or the connector block. After that, the control module could be the problem.

I have the same problem on J44 but have been too lazy to sort it out! I must get onto it.

Can anyone else help?

Have you started using the spare key by any chance, both keys can be programmed to different settings. Perhaps a connector has come unplugged under the seat.

Many thanks for info. Yes I have tried to re-program the seat. And no I am using the same key.
I will look under the seat ref loose cable Monday.

Hi Guy's
What I have done for now is to program number 2 button to seat far back to allow me entry and then when I get in the car I have programed 1 to my driving position, that for the present is working OK.
When I get myself sorted out I will have another go at the full memory auto.
