S-TYPE 2005 3.0 AUTO GEARBOX FAULT WARNING
I have owned the car for three or four years and got a gearbox fault warning up on the first day almost. This seems to prevent gear changes or changing up but is immediately remedied by switching it off and switching it on again. IT STILL DRIVES FINE, NO CLONKS OR OTHER SYMPTOMS. Initially it probably happened every three months but it’s now getting far more frequent. Is this an electrical problem? any advice please.
