Hi Gary,
rufford park had to be pre booked I had entered but not sure if the car will be ready. Even if not I'll be going. It is said to be a good show, just hope the weather is okay on the day. Maybe see you there, we'll be at a blue XJS with the pinic out.

Gary,

I have the centre section for the original exhaust on J44 here. 53K miles use, Tied up in the shower on my big boat...just in case!

Taken off my 02 car when I had a big bore Miltek system fitted. Small unimportant dent in balance pipe but otherwise ok. Would fit you V8 with no issues.

Can be viewed at low tide in Portsmouth. Ping or ring me if interested.

Hi Mike, Is that the centre box that is roughly under the rear seats were the two pipes split to either side of car exiting at rear ?, also mine is also a stainless big bore system so if yours is the original system will it be the same size pipes ?.Mine is just from the CAT back the rest looks original.
On the plus side if it is i am in Portsmouth every week at the ferry terminal either shipping out to Caen or dropping/collecting trailers so collection wouldnt be a problem .

Thanks, Gary

The section I have, Gary, is the standard original 50mm ex factory part. ie cats back to back boxes with standard resonator boxes, H pipe balance pipe interlinking the twin pipes. Sounds as if it might not quite be what you need if like me you have a big bore system fitted.

Drop in sometime if you wish. J11 Fareham turn off just down on the Quay.

Hi Mike, measured the outer bore of exhaust and it is roughly 9 & 3/4 inch diameter, it does have a small balance pipe just the engine side of silencer box. The measurments are the same at both ends of the middle section. Is your spare any good ?. Thanks, Gary.

Hi Gary,

Can`t fathom the dimensions you give, but this cars back centre section is from a standard 4 litre 02 plate V8.

Slight dent in H=pipe which is of no real consequence. Welds and resonators are all good and the system was in use prior to fitting a big bore system at 54k miles.
