I have a recollection that the mag carried an article (or series of articles) about the oil change procedure for S-Type auto gearboxes. On another thread in this forum Feb/Mar 2008 issues were mentioned but when HQ sent me copies they are for V8 and supercharged models.
My car is due for a service and I intended to get the gearbox oil changed but without the instructions, I'm stuck.
Anybody out there keep their mags and perhaps kind enough to copy for me?

I regret this is outside my experience.
Does the handbook not give the correct oil spec?
Might be an idea to contact your Jaguar Main Dealer who will be able to spec the oil for you. You might also be able to glean the correct change proceedure from him. Alternatively, perhaps drop Dave Marks a mail.
If you could post what you find out on this BB later, I`m sure this would be of interest to other club members.
