I sold my ProBitz chiip and went for an invisible remap last year by Big Fish Tuning (after looking around).
Power/torque is noticeably better than with the chip (which could only be turned up so far without a Restricted Performance alarm on the dash and power cutting out until restarted).
The remap has no such alarms (once engine up to temp) and the gearbox has coped well with the huge increase in torque (presuming its the same gearbox in the XJR so shouldnt have any future problems).
Rolling Road figures show the power up to 241.6 BHP (221 Bhp with tuning box) and torque (which went down with the tuning box!) has risen from 435.21 Nm up to 516.57 Nm!!!
At Santa Pod in June a number of Jaguars raced down the 1/4 mile and the ONLY cars to beat mine were the X308 XJR and two X350 XJR (the X308 was the fastest).I got within .53 sec against an X350 XJR to 1/4 mile and my car was faster than a std S Type 2.7d, two 4.0 V8 S Types,the 3.0 XJ.
