I was asked by a few of the STR Owners from last years 10th Anniversary Event at Weston Park, if we could do it again this year, we thought Northern Day at Newby Hall would be an ideal venue. The Show Committee have agreed to give us an area so that we may park together, its just a wee get together, kind of unofficial 11th Anniversary meet.
Last years event was a collective of Jec and Jaguarforum STR Owners and so far I have 8 interested in going, a few of which are JEC Members, so if anyone on here was interested please post here or let me know.

The seminar was very informative and some nice food to accompany it shame I couldn't make the S Type Seminar, next year maybe.
I've always had a soft spot for an X150, I think it would keep the STR company very nicely,

Hi Rob, no objections, we have plenty of Black Cars, I'm sure we could sacrifice one of them Mike had mentioned he was going to arrange for 2 (non STR) Cars.

!!!!!, not even sure J44 will make it to Newby, remember it at Weston, oh deep joy and loads of steam!!

I will be running back up from Portsmouth on thursday 20th so could always give him a tow as far as Selby then he would only be 45 mins away from Newby so would probably mange the last 30 odd miles or so !

That car or what is now still working, made this Forum what it is today. Have a bit of respect for my disintegrating relic.

Nacked and dirty it may be, but it still turns heads, especially when yet more bits fall off. Despite all that, J44 is still one of the faster naturally aspirated S-types around even if on the return trip you have to keep an eye out for the parts that fell off on the way there.

Three wheels on my wagon and I`m still rolling along.

Any one near Portsmouth 10th June 2013 is welcome to attend our Regional meeting at The Churchillian from about 19.30hrs. Bring a bucket and sponge and make yourself useful to J44.
