Front Frame Bolts

Front Frame Bolts

Can i replace the bolts that hold the frames to the bulkhead with stainless steel ?. Or is this not advisable.

Hello Justin,

stainless steel is not usually recommended for stressed application on a car. I don't know what specification bolts should be used but I would imagine quite a high tensile strength. I use Copaslip on fasteners so that removal in the future is not a problem.
