Hello everyone - I’d appreciate a bit of guidance from anyone who knows......I have previously posted on the MK2 Forum as I also own a MK2 3.8 saloon - but 3 years ago I also bought an Etype Roadster and subsequently commenced a full bare shell restoration via a specialist whom I have known for many years. The car is back on the road and I am eagerly awaiting spring....the thing is....the seats! The interior has been fully re-trimmed by BAS but I notice that there is a problem when the roof is down (a process that involves tipping the seats forward lowering the roof then tipping the seats back - there is a lovely badge on the roof line reminding me to do this) - the problem is the seats cannot be reclined as far back when the roof is down as they hit the roof frame. This means I am not as comfortable as I am when the roof is closed and the seat can be reclined further back.
Being an Etype novice - is this normal?
Any guidance appreciated - thanks in advance
Tim
S2 Roadster Seats - do they really fit?
Re: S2 Roadster Seats - do they really fit?
I cannot help with your question Tim as mine is a FHC, other than to suggest you go to one of the E-type specialist forums:
etypeuk.com or Jag-lovers
You are much more likely to get an answer there ...... if you have not already
