Red 1962 Coupe race car

I am an Enthusiasts' member in the USA and I own a XKE race car that is reported to have been raced and wrecked in the UK. It is reported to have done some club type racing and rally events from 1962-1975. In 1975-1976 it is to have been raced by Terry Moore and wrecked. The car was then exported to the USA for Bill Terry and rebuilt by him and vintage raced in the USA. I do not have any registration numbers for the car just current log books for the SCCA and SVRA. If anyone has any knowledge of a racer Terry Moore or an exported wrecked XKE coupe race car, it seems to have always been Red, I would love to hear from you. Thanks

If you have no original paperwork for the car and it does not have its chassis plate with all the numbers on (?) then does it still have its original engine frames, in particular, the so called "picture frame" at the front of the engine frames? Look at the top of this for a stamping on the RHS (looking from behind) The number there is the chassis number. If you've got that you can go to JDHT (Jaguar Daimler Heritage Trust) and get information on its original build spec. You could also plug that into XKEdata.com and see if there is any further info there.

Thanks but "picture frame " has been replaced previously and ID plate is also missing. Car has been wrecked/ totaled at least twice and has also been converted to left hand drive at some point.
