Hi
I’m in the process of trying to wire up a set of front seats from an XJ40 into my MK2, and I really need a wiring diagram so I can identify the power supply cables from the control unit for the switch box, I was under the impression that it would be the same as the XJ6 but unfortunately the wire colours are different.
Any help would be greatly appreciated, as I’m a bit stuck at the moment!

Hi Nick,
Found this info on line from Jag-Lovers.Com which might help.
https://forums.jag-lovers.com/t/xj40-da ... elp/287089
Also this wiring diagram but no index for the colour of the wires.

Hope that helps.

Re: XJ40 seat wiring diagram
Thanks Andy
Yes I had seen those posts during my trawling of the internet. I have now bought a downloaded copy of the XJ40 manual which does have the wiring diagrams in, unfortunately despite following these, I still can’t get anything to work, so I’m unsure where I’m going wrong. Looks like it’ll be a day with the multi meter tomorrow!
Regards
Nick
