all, I have in my possession a 1969 S2 Roadster to be sold

long story, but I will cut it short, a friend of mine in Shetland contacted me to say his friends bother who lived in Germany had passed away, and his E Type had been inherited by the brother who does not want the car, however selling an E Type from Shetland would be difficult at best, so the car was shipped to me from Germany last week

We have a USA spec, twin Stomberg car, LHD manual, on a German registration, bought for £33K in 2006, Regency red (original) and tan trim (not original) drives and sounds beautiful, looks the business, but imo needs some detailing to make REALLY good. That said a great and usable car, and , probably the cheapest way into a running and driving E Type drophead

anyone who wants to have a look, the car is in Swinton, Berwickshire, TD11 3, pm me and we can sort out a suitable time, cat will not be expensive, but sensible offers will all be passed to the owner for consideration

Rather nicer than the S1/2 I was asked to help recover from Essex a few weeks ago. That was an ex California car, sun burn damaged, rubbers shot, cockamamie cooling mods, alternator mounted above rad back to front to reverse pulley rotation, wouldn`t start, key start jammed in crank position, American spec tires (sic), paint job by Sandtex, hole in the floor and several other places, exhaust on back seat, rough old thing. £30k paid unseen on ebay!!!!! Not a patch on this one. Like the color (more sic).
