I have a set of restored Borrani wheels and spinners for the Series 1 and 2 E-Type. They are all in perfect condition and and ready to mount and go.
RW 3664 – (15 x 6), 72 spokes, triple laced to inner and outer rim, 95mm back space, standard fit. The inner and outer triple laced design is the classic ‘Borrani’ race look which is also much stronger than a two row, conventionally laced wheel. This is the wheel designed for the performance minded 6 cylinder E Type owner that wants a slightly wider wheel, track and tyre, but with a significant weight saving over standard E-Type wire wheels. A stunning look with increased strength, performance and longevity.
DB 3128 – 3 eared Borrani spinner for Jaguar - 2 left hand and 2 right hand. Rechromed.
Michelin 185 HR 15 XVS - P tyres - fewer than 200 miles on these but the date code suggests they were made 30 years ago, so probably only fit as sacrificial rubber for storing the car/moving it around the garage.
These were taken from my 1966 Series 1 2+2 and fully restored last year by P J Hallewell Engineering - the wire wheel specialist - who also put the tyres and tapes on and balanced the wheels. They have not been driven on since.
The polishing of the wheels was light to preserve the patina and the Borrani script but the triple eared spinners were completely rechromed.
