For some time now the rev counter of my E Type has been occasionally stopping working, remaining at "zero revs", then restarting and stopping and restarting occasionally without any logic. I noticed by chance while driving at night, that when the rev counter stops working, the high beams also do not work, and the horn also stops working. When the rev counter restarts, the high beams and the horn also start working normally again.
Can anyone give me directions on what and where to check and fix it?
The competent classic car workshop that I normally go to in my city (Modena Italy), has done checks without finding the reason (during their tests "obviously" the case has never arisen...
); unfortunately in my area the "Jaguar E" are not very widespread and equally, the experience of the workshops, much more prepared for Porsche, Ferrari, Maserati etc.Thanks in advance for any suggestions.
