Battery for S1 4.2

Can anyone recommend a battery to fit my series 1 4.2? I can’t seem to find a 069 battery that will fit the battery space and sit in the tray. I have purchased a Lucas 069 but this is about 10mm too long. The existing battery which sits in the tray is 250 l x 174 w and 220 high. Can any recommend a smaller battery than the 069 in size and output that fits? I am not concerned about trying to make it look original. Many thanks in advance, Mike.

Hi Mike,

I can recommend a Varta silver dynamic D21 from Tayna .... tayna.co.uk, just bought one myself, £68 all in, delivered quickly and very efficient.
