Looking to change the battery on my 1971 2+2. Can someone please tell me what are the correct Ah and CCA requirements for this car?
Thanks and keep safe.

069 is the correct size for the V12.

Thanks JimboV8 for your 069 info however, could you please be a little more explicit on which battery you are suggesting?
Have trawled the Internet with 069 and keep getting similar contradictions on Ah, CCA and, in particular, sizes from various manufacturers!
I can only have 260mm length of battery but anyone with higher Ah than 64 is 261mm or longer, plus, same battery on one site gives 260mm and on another 261mm?? Not being able (at present) to go and measure one was attempting to obtain the actual spec for the V12?
Thank you again for your sole reply to my query.

Re: E type Series 3 V12 battery
Although unable to find out the design specification for the car battery have now purchased one that provides higher figures than the old one and FITS!
I should like to thank Art and his friend Paul for their inputs. I finally settled on a Yuasa YBX 3030 rated at 72Ah and 630CCA, but critically 2mm shorter than the advertised length of 260mm, the maximum the battery compartment could accommodate.
