On the main hood stick above the B post, where the vertical portion is there is a metal fabriated part that the hood glues on to and the door glass rubber glues to (the vertical part), it is mounted by 2 off No 10 machine screws on the inside ofteh car and 2 off small machine screws on the outside of the car. anyone know what thread this is, or could anyone remove one to find out for mr, it is smalled than a No 10 UNF, but I dont know whats smaller than this.
it may be BA, or it may be an even smaller size of UNF smaller than No 10

hood frame bolts
Mark,
I know the screws you mean and took one out of mine to check the thread and I still don't know what it is.
I tried a 3/16" UNF die on it and it seemed to go tight after a couple of threads.
The inside screws are countersunk and I have some in st.st if you want them for further investigation and also to use them PM me with your address. I have a couple of st. st dome nuts and other bits left over from when I fitted my hood.
