S2 OTS boot release cable

does any one know if this cable can be replaced without replacing the whole boot lock mechanism, £ 60 + vat from SNG is a bit steep.

You can replace the cable only because I done just that.Purchase a brake cable the correct length or longer and cut to length.This can be purchased from a bike or a motorcylcle shop.
