Rear Brake Cylinders

Postby 2JagJim » Mon Aug 14, 2017 12:24 am

Last year I rebuilt the entire rear axle of my 1962 Etype. I upgraded the brake cylinders to stainless steel but after only a couple of hundred miles they are leaking. The manufacturer, to their credit, has sent me a new set of cylinders. However, i was wondering if anyone has found a way of replacing them without having to go to the trouble of removing the axle again. It looks like you might be able to gain access to the outboard cylinders but is it possible to get to the inboard ones by removing the shock absorbers?
