Good day
In the store of SNG-Barratt I have ordered a few gaskets/seals (see links below) and would now like to install them. Now my question: Is a pre-treatment necessary for these gasket before installation, such as soaking them in oil beforehand? With previous cork gaskets this was necessary. Exactly what material are the gaskets made of? I don't find any information on the homepage except "paper style".
Thank you very much for any feedback,
kind regards
David Michel

Re: Gaskets Jag-E S3
Hello David,
no pre treatment is required form those gaskets.
What I normally use is Hylomar on the paper gaskets more as an aid to correct location rather than to improve the seal, i.e. to keep the gasket in place as I assemble the corresponding part.
