Are there any recommendations for new tyres for Series 3 E Type with wire wheels. Either manufacturer or specification
I currently have 205 on the front and 215 on the rear and these are quite old but not worn out.
The local tyre dealer does not seem to have guidelines in his manuals.
I only use the car for leisure activities.

The tyres must be rated to the max speed and power of the car. Why not just use the spec that is on the tyres you already have.
There is a rule of thumb that says tyres should be changed after 5 years regardless of wear.

Original spec for a V12 was 205 VR 70 15 Dunlops. I think these are still available from specialist suppliers
