i own a series 1 1/2 E Type fixed head and am having trouble with my drivers window. it winds down in the correct manner but sticks when trying to wind the window back up. I have to lift the glass manualy upward before resuming winding up. has anybody had this trouble ? DENIS

You will probably find that the winder mechanism has come loose. If you are going to Stoneleigh tomorrow then try and get an old mechanism doesn't matter if its an E-Type or not then you can remove the old one and make a good repair using parts from both.
Get some kevlar gloves as well cos you sctratch your hands and arms red raw.
