E type series 2 DHC
I have recently fitted a new choke cable to my Series 2 DHC e type. Whilst replacing it I have followed the route of the old cable fairly low through the firewall; there are then two ninety degree bends before the connection is made to the control lever.
Unfortunately now, when I close the chock the outer cable flexes at the turn near the control lever, the choke won't fully close nor obviously will the light extinguish. No amount of outer cable adjustment solves the problem and I now believe the cable route may not have been correct in the first place.
Could someone please let me know the correct route for this troublesome cable or an alternative solution please.
