History search for my E-Type

Hi,
I am trying to fill in a piece of missing history on my early Etype.
I have a 1962 FHC 3.8.
Chasis number: 860632
Engine Number: R 5893-9
Body Number: V 2852
Original Reg: DL 77
Current Reg: 9176 AP
Date First registered: 22/6/1962
Delivered to M/S Leman Bros LTD, 4 Old Town, Clapham, London by Henley's of London.

The car I know had an upgraded gearbox fitted and had an engine rebuild around 1988 from which it has only done 29,000 miles since. It is an original RHD UK car. Currently Red with black leather, was originally Opalescent Maroon with Beige interior.
Serviced and looked after from 1998 by Ken Jenkins.
The car is in excellent condition.

The gaps I have are from '62-'75 and then the 80's.
I have a huge history folder with the car but I would love to know more about it.

ie: what number it was off the production line etc.

I'm new to all of this so any help would be greatly appreciated.
