Removing the engine & gearbox

I am about to remove the engine and gearbox from a series 2 E type. Where would I find the best guidance on this? I am intending to lift the car from the engine on a four post lift. Any best practice type advice is welcome.

Having recently anguished over this and now done it...........the options are.....take it out of the top(with box)..Angle is steep and very close to picture frame.....my 3rd choice. Or remove both manifolds and drop it down onto home made trolley (easy to get castors and 5 ply board to size) This would have been my choice but couldn’t get all the nuts off either exhaust OR inlet manifolds !!

So having taken advice from Art of the club, I took off front picture frame removed steering rack et al and lowered the full weight on a platform It then simply wheeled out. Remember that you will need to release the tension in the reaction plate. I dismantled the suspension because I was rebuilding the car anyway
