Hi All,
I'm wondering how best to get an E type onto a trailer or tow it generally? What is the best way to attach a winch/tow rope to the front?
Thanks in advance,
Mark

To get an E Type onto a winched trailer I would attach a protected strap around one of the front lower wishbones (the big one which has the lower ball joint on its end) This would enable the car to be loaded without any underbody concerns. Then strap down all four wheels with ratchet straps so that car then has a five point fixing.
Alternatively remove radiator and sling through bonnet onto picture frame.
Towing an E Type legally generally has some issues as there is no provision to mount a solid towing bar without likely damage and towing with a rope is a bit of a no no.
