I would fist of all like to introduce myself. My name is Gordon Hamilton, and I have recently become a member of JEC.
I have recently purchased a S2 OTS E Type, registration WOT 305H, and have recently added some ufo on the vehicle registration section, including a couple of photos.
I have a number of historical records with the car, including its original registration document, but I seem to have a bit of gap in my information, with nothing much between 1976 and 1984.
The car was entered into a number of concourse competitions in the late 80's and early 90's, including the 30th anniversary '1000 E-Type Day' at Donington Park on June 9th 1991, at which it won 1st place in both the S2 Roadster category, as well as 'Best Car of the Day'.
The car is an "Eagle Engineered" vehicle, and has had a number of modifications, mainly aimed at improving the reliability of a few areas, such as engine cooling, alternator, and fuel, oil and water pumps. I have kept the external appearance unchanged, as the suspension and brakes seem pretty good to me.
I would like to research as much of the cars history as possible, and wondered if other JEC members might be able to provide any more information on the car's history, especially in the 8 year 'gap' I have? Alternatively I would be grateful for any guidance I might be able to get on potential sources of information?
Many thanks

Re: New member introduction
Hi Archie,
Welcome to the Club and the BB.
Sounds like a beauty of a car, Eagle engineered engine too, nice.
I hope some one on here can help, we also have a column in the Magazine "Wheres that car" that may be able to help (with a slight twist of course).
I hope you enjoy the Club, but more importantly running your car.
James
