Hi, Anyone able to confirm the "nuts & bolts" used on 68 2+2. I believe they are AF but wanted to check prior to ordering assorted nuts bolts etc. Seems previous interactions with the car have involved fitting whatever was at hand.
Anyone recommend a supplier for nuts and bolts?

Re: nuts and bolts
Hello Kevin,
although often referred to and a basis of spanner size(both Imperial and Metric), AF is not a fastener type.
You need largely UNF with some UNC fasteners (UNC typically for studs that go onto tapped holes)
I can recommend a company called Namrick (www.namrick.co.uk) which stocks a large range and caters for the car trade. While stainless steel is popular as a replacement do not use them on safety critical assemblies as they are not as strong as the usual high tensile mild steel fasteners, e.g. suspension or brakes.
Hope this helps?
