Hi Stuart,

Already worked out that you are the youngest "owner" having bought at 40 and been restoring for 10 years. Hopefully soon you will the youngest "driver" on this thread, when do you think your E will be on the road?

I need it to take my Daughter to get married in on August 18th.

All I need to do is fit the door glass and front and rear windscreens, the dashboard and everything fitted to, in and behind it. Plumb the brakes, fit the entire interior. Design, make and fit the alternator mounting hardware. Fit the radiator, header tank, air filter and trumpets, throttle linkage and mudshields. Then fit bonnet, get it MOT'd, road registered (imported), run in. Polished and prepped for the big day.

Easy eh?

To answer the original question, re: age.

Of those members who registered an E-Type and who declared their Year of Birth,
the average age is 59

Still no volunteers?

Guess nobody can get out of their bath chairs. Need to get the job done before the arthritis and cataracts stop me!

At 46 you are by far the youngest to date!
13 years younger than the average E driver.............a mere nipper!

Yes, I know how it is. I'm going to have to cull my collection. I think 7 cars is a little excessive but how do you choose between an E-Type, a 420 Sovereign, a Porsche 911 and an Audi Quattro? Its just not possible.

Would gladly get rid of the Honda Jazz, Peugeot 407 SW or Ford Focus but they are the practical cars used by the family.

its a hard life
