Wire wheels for 1973 Series 3 V12

I've been asked what are the largest dimension wheels that will suit - can anybody offer a suggestion ?

What will suit or what will fit!? :-)
15" suit best!
Going bigger would of course be down to personal taste.
I am sure you could squeeze as big as 17" with the right tyres.
