JEC ends agreement with FJ?

Postby DaveK » Thu Dec 18, 2008 11:03 pm

Well I didn't see or hear it here or in the mag but on another website the JDC E-Type register.
I looked through the December mag and couldn't see anything in there about it, actually this is the only time I've looked through the mag for a couple of years and daft as it sounds I usually throw them away unopened!!

Anyone shed any light the only reason I have stayed with the club is because of the insurance scheme.

Footman James Insurance through JEC

Hi, Dave, I've just made my first post on the XJ8 forum and am 'browsing' while hoping for a reply to my query. I added the newly-acquired XJ8 to my E-Type policy on New Year's Eve and no mention was made of the arrangement being changed.

Confused. Prior to acquiring my first ever E-type on Saturday 23rd May 2009, I contacted FJ to arrange for my insurance. FJ confirmed to me that if I joined the JEC I would be eligible for a discount. So I joined the JEC, got my discount and enjoying every second of driving my E-Type.
Regards . . Gary

I have just got my renewal notice last week and in there was a form that stated I have to get my car valued by the JEC.
I think what has happened is the JEC now endorse up to 3 insurance companies not just FJ.
I also get the discount as well.
