How was the festival never been to this show, was it any good

Hi Clive, it was my first visit and like others I eventually got there as it wasn't the easiest place to find and it wasn't signposted. Not a major event but quite a good turnout of vehicles and the Red Arrows even appeared, well at least they flew over on their way to somewhere else. Nearly managed a full set of E-Types in the arena, I think we were only a couple of models short and Nigel [Thorley] gave his usual knowledgeable presentation of them & interviewed all the drivers. Weather was a bit mixed but the rain held off until about 3pm when it came down heavy and sort of curtailed things but all in all a good day out as far as I was concerned albeit a 400 mile round trip.

About 6000 miles so far Clive (this was my 16th event of the year with 3 or 4 left to do). I've just emailed Mike Brown for the pictures - his S1 was on the Forum Stand with us & his wife was on camera duty, hopefully I'll be able to post a couple here in due course.
