X-Type Dealer Literature

Hi Everyone
Please see the notes below from Guy Maylam who has a collection of Jaguar X-Type memorabilia looking for a home.
Cheers, Steve
Having been a JEC member for many years, and a Jaguar salesman up to a couple of years ago, I always read your X-type column.
It is pleasing that people like yourself are keen to champion the X-type's cause; certainly many of my customers loved theirs.
The reason for my e mail is that, as a serial collector, over the 24 years I sold Jaguar, I tried to save all the point-of-sale material, brochures, posters etc that I could. I guess I reasoned that nobody else would!
I have a pretty large quantity of it, and I think it is about time some of it moved onto people who might appreciate it more.
From your point of view I have a lot of X-type items. Apart from every brochure, leaflet, price list, dealer guide etc issued, there are also showroom hangers, banners, flags, several large cardboard showroom stands, paint and trim samples etc. All manner of things.
One quite unusual thing is a life-size diesel fuel pump, in cardboard! This was issued when the X-type went diesel in 2003.
I will probably have a stand at Stoneleigh in October, but if either yourself or any other X-type enthusiast is interested in having a look beforehand, please let me know.
My mobile is 07801 187131.
Best regards,
Guy.
