Having read the X type forum column in the JE magazine, requesting information on breakers yards with them in try:-

In Scunthorpe, a friend told me he had seen an S type in the above yard, unfortunately for me it was an X type, but it looked reasonably complete, black with cream seats, the drivers seat looked good. I didn't look any further as I'm after S type parts (door locks and front lower suspension arms).

A bit far from Scunthorpe but most parts are postable, I have a Jaguar only breakers yard near me 01708 228150 or www.essexjaguarspares.co.uk

i have two X-types in my local traditional breakers yard, help yourself job , a few quid on the gate for any parts
