Euro 4 emissions standards for petrol X Types

Many British cities will soon be requiring cars to meet Euro 4 emissions standards (petrol) or Euro 6 (diesel) - or face a penalty charge.
My wife and I drive 3-litre petrol X types - one a 2003 (03) car and one a 2004 (54 plate) car. But do they meet Euro 4 standards?
I checked our V5 registration documents but they don't tell us. I also looked at the London (ULEZ) website That says "Petrol cars that meet the ULEZ standards are generally those first registered with the DVLA after 2005, although some cars that meet the standards have been available since 2001."

Does anybody know whether all petrol X Types built from 2001 are exempt from emissions charging in London, Birmingham, Bristol etc? The ULEZ site does indicate that our two cars are exempt from the charge. But it it then says "this may change without notice when our records are updated....you should check each time you travel."
