put my private plate on the X-type today

when i sold on my XJ8 , i removed the plate and put it on retention

well , this week i put it on the X-type, we have had this car seven months now and it hasnt missed a beat , so i thought i might as well ,

looks a bit better without everyone knowing how old she is , lol

A private plate add personality to a car.

Also makes the car seem more attached to the owner.

If I could only find another half decent Jag to join J44, I`d be adding the next plate in the series to the acquisition. Two consecutive or near matching plates would be fun.

I transferred my private plate from my X type to my XKR and it still makes people smile, or even laugh out loud, but that's why I bought it.

Well my last name is Lockwood so it's even more relevant!! And my dear wife won't drive it on her own with that registration!!
