Hi,

I've strayed from the S type Forum, but thought this might be of use, if you don't already know of it :-

I found the above when looking for diagnostic equipment for pre 2001 (OBDII) cars, it tells of an onboard diagnostics system in X and S types, unfortunately it has limited access for me, but some find it useful.
