noisy under-dashboard relay 2.0 diesel 2004

This relay is really noisy and plays morse code continuously from turning the key before the engine starts to when you turn the engine off.I've no idea what it's function is or it's location. It started doing this yesterday but does not appear to create any malfunction. Does anybody have a solution / idea please?

For future reference, the solution appears to be to cycle the aircon system at full speed with recirculation engaged for a few minutes at each position. Cause unknown but is probably a poor contact somewhere. Fingers crossed that it's a permanent solution.
