blue tooth module

Hi Guys I am a new member to this club and so far 'like what I see'.
I have a 2006 X Type. It has the telephone within the console but it appears the blue tooth module is missing. You can pick one up off of ebay for as little as £30. Just wondered whether this could be fitted by myself or whether it would be best to go to a dealer and have it fitted for me?
any one had any experience with this?
