New Rear Bushes on FWD car

Just had my 2006 X Type Sport 2.0D serviced at a Main Dealer. 87k miles.
Reports that the rear bushes are worn on Anti Roll Bar and Hub Carriers.
Is this is job that can be done by a reasonably accomplished engineer (have and maintain E Type and TR6), and are there any Workshop Manuals available.
Any advice would be most welcome.

Rear ARB bushes are easy to do, 4 bolts (best to renew them too) and 2 bushes. Check out Ebay for the bits you need. I replaced mine last year with poly bushes (cost a little bit more) and that cured the bompityclonk from the rear.

Not done any other bushes to date but I don't think any are too difficult. Probably the worst thing is rusted bolts, rather than anything technical.

Update info.
Just done the rear ARB bushes. Very simple after using an easing fluid on the bolts the day before, it's not even necessary to jack up the car to reach them.
Can't understand why the bolts have such small heads (8mm), is this the trend on modern cars or is there a technical reason.
