Lowering X-Type 3.0 Sport

I'd like to lower my 3.0 Sport and have seen springs for sale which will do it by 25mm, 35mm etc. Does anyone know how much my car can be lowered, considering it has wide 18" wheels and 225 40 18 tyres? Hi. Try talking to Neil Taylor who races one in the JEC Saloon series. Do not forget that the suspension is Laser aligned on a special Main Dealer only Rig if you upset the existing rear end settings. I reckon 25mm would be about right with firmer springs. There isn,t a lot of room with 18" alloys. Best of luck, Paul
