Can i use dexron 111 instead of dexron 11e for my power steering?

I don't see a problem with that. Does your owners manual specifically state Dextron 11e? How old is your X?

Manuel says dexron 11e, car is a 2001 2.5 se. I tried this question on google and the general concensus seems to be use dexron 111 no problem.
